He was awarded a letter and a trophy voted him by the squad for the 55 best all around player of the year. Basketball season rolled around and J. B. was deathly sick in Rex is Hospital in Raleigh. Before the first ball game he was unanimously elected 55 honorary captain for the year. He was named honorary captain of this year's 5 baseball team. 1 Yes, J. B. was easily one of the greatest all around athletes Elon F has ever known. There was a bright future ahead for James Bunyon Seymour 7! before his death on December 13, l9L6. To him, 'JB' as he was known, we proudly dedicate this annual, who gi served his school in a way that made us all proud of him.
