6 SAMARA FRY HOUSE NOTES TH LTHOUGH we did not win the House XJ. Shield last year, we have high hopes of doing so this year. We followed the Fry tradition by having the entire house In the play and also by winning it! We presented the play, ' Rose Latulippe by Edward Devlin at the School Bazaar. Everyone worked hard and deserved suc- cess. We would again like to thank Mrs. W. F. Devlin for so kindly lending us the costumes used in the original production. This year the House Collections were held in the hall and this proved a most satis- factory arrangement. The guality and quantity of the gifts of both seniors and juniors were very good. Mary Blackburn received commendation for the best contribution of hand made articles in the school. We would like to congratulate the fol- lowing prize-winners of last year: — a vr !
