JOURNALISM Floppy discs make writing easier. Editor shares knowledge with friend. LJ X E h Ellen wrestling with yearbook. PIRATE REVIEW editors, T.Han- shaw C.West doing layouts. Journalism students began the year revamping the monthly student newspaper and naming it the Pirate Review. Students were responsible for ready to print copy on comput- er discs which the editors used to make final layouts for photocopying. Yearbook staff members chose the theme ONLY A MOMENT AGO, de- signed the cover, learned how to write copy, crop pictures, draw layouts and meet deadlines. All in all the year seemed filled with deadlines for: Ellen Behrends, Randy CLine, Brian Douglas, Tracy Hanshaw, Karen Jones, Kathy Kunz, Kyle Pointer.Scott Shepard, Jerry Smith, Dave Stubben- deck, Cynthia West, Kris Zoz. Final editing and photographing for the yearbook and newspaper kept Mrs. Nielsen hopping this year. 23
