Seniors Sneak Successfully Again For the second year in a row, Elmwood seniors sneaked to Kansas City. Missouri, for two and ' • days of sightseeing and fun. The morning of May ninth found us all on the bus before six o'clock ready to go. We arrived at K.C. early and spent a few hours at beautiful Crown Shopping Center before proceeding to the huge K.C. zoo. At the zoo. we suffered our first and only casualty: Deb was bitten by an ostrich, the little devil! (the ostrich, not Deb) We finished the day at a K-C Royals-Milwaukee Brewers BB game where we were treated to the sight of Hank Aaron hitting a home run! After a short night at the Holiday Inn. we were ready to tackle Worlds of Fun for a good part of Saturday. It was great and if we hadn't been so tired, we would have stayed longer............ Well, the rest of the trip went in style. We took ourselves out for a steak dinner at K.C’s Sheraton-Royale Hotel, but all too soon it was time to pack for home. We arrived back in Elmwood with enough time to take a long nap before making the trip to Baccalaureate. Sunday evening. 12
