Qflless Mustafa FRESHMEN YEAR In the fall of 1951, fifty one students climbed aboard the train of knowledge to obtain a high school education This year we were initiated by the Seniors The boys wore girls' blouses, lipstick, and their overalls rolled up to their knees The girls wore their Dad's overalls and shirts, and no lipstick At the dance we had to do stunts in front of the entire student body Class officers for tnis year were President, John Lewls, Vice President, Jerry Jeb r, Secretary Treasurer, Janice Tibbetts, and Advison Mr Kittel SOPHOHORE YEAR During our Sophomore year, we lost twelve of our members Arla Hall, Jean Hofacker, Collene Fleld, and Dorothy Weinzirl transferred to Durand John Lynch, Herbert Radtke, Bill Stuart, and Lloyd Kearns, Joined the service Ronald Reitz and Douglas Brunner are working on fanns,and JoAnn Miller is married Three other students Joined our class namely Bruce Heit, Evelyn Gray, and Marvin Isum This year we sponsored the Christmas Party We originated the idea of placing the Christmas tree in the center of the floor It had originally stood in the corner Our officers for thls year were President, Honey Berg, Vice President, Richard Pence, Secretary, Stanley Levisee, Treasurer, Mary Weber, and our Advisor was Mrs Jenson JUNIOR YEAR We are well on our way to becoming educated This year Kevin Britton and JoAnn Schick joined us The big event this year was our Prom, which was a big success It was held on April 30 Our theme was 'Blue Moon, Gauvin and he chose Delores Yauch as his Queen Attendants were Judy Larrieu and Stanley Levlsee, Karleen Kearns and Bill Poquette, and Honey Berg and Richard Pence Another outstandlng event was, Just Ducky, our class play, under the direction of Mrs Eukel Class officers this aar were President, Henry Leehe, V1ce President, Janice Tibbetts, ecretary, Mary Weber, Treasurer, Rlta Ottman and our Advisors were Mr W1 link, Mr Mitchell, and Miss Lumby SENIOR YEAR As we go down the last tretch of high school life, we find that we again have lost four members Laverne Seiple has Joined the Air Force, Lorna Woods, Sadie Vivoda and JoAnn Schick are married This year we initiated the Fresnmen and presented a dance in their honor Homecoming was also a big event this year Mary Weber was elected Queen by the football team and she chose John Lewis as her King They were presented at halftime at the game between Elmwood and Tony which we won A dance was held in the evening and was enjoyed by all We have chosen Blue and White as our class colors. The carnation is our class flower, and our motto is, nNot Finished, Just Begun ' We also compiled the 1955 BEACON Class officers for this year were President, Henry Leehe, Vice President, Janice Tibbetts, Secretary, Mary Weber, Treasurer, John Lewis. Our Advisors are Mrs Smlth, Miss Lumby, and Mr Willink o' O . O L ' N and the music was furnished by the Royal Blackhawks. Our King was Ronald ' N ll 0
