NANCY GLENN IACK IORDEN BARB HARRIS DUANE RUNYON President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Juniors CLASS OF 1958 On September 2, 1954, fifty-eight eager students entered E.C.H.S. as freshmen. Under the direction of the class advisors, Miss Risen and Mr. Cady, we elected the following of- ficers: Tom Jones, President, Iackie Miles, Vice-President, Letitla Steer, Secretary, and Jim Fruit, Treasurer. Eileen Wagner was chosen reporter. Fifty-three returned in Sept. 1955 as sophomores. Duane Runyon was elected President with Jack Jordan, Vice-Resident, Dick Whitney, Secretary-Treasurerp and Jackie Miles, Re- porter. Our advisors were Mrs. McCraith, Miss Fitzgerald, and Mr. Cady. In the Home- coming Parade our float received second prize, and our stunt was also considered a success. We sponsored an all-school party, and we also co-sponsored a dance with the juniors the night after the prom. On May 19, the biology class took a trip to Chicago. Mr. Cady sponsored the trip, and Bob Cox drove the bus. In the fall of 1956, forty-eight of us returned as upper-classmen. The officers chosen by the class were Nancy Glenn, President, Iack Iordan, Vice-President: Barb Harris, Secretary, and Duane Runyon, Treasurer. Mary Alice Bourgoin was chosen by the officers to be class re- porter. Our advisors were Mrs. Monroe and Mr. Serup. Mr. Serup left at the end of the first semester, and Mr. Br0l1Qhton took his place. In October our class rings arrived. Again this year we received second prize on our float for Homecoming. In November, we presented our class play Tiger on His Toes under the direction of Mrs. Monroe. It was a big success. On May 10 we held our prom, Midnight In Madrid. We are looking forward to next year when we return as seniors.
