CLASS HISTORY On August 29, of 1955, the Freshman class attended its first school day at ECHS. Our class consists of 69 pupils, and is the largest Freshman class ever to enter Elmwood High. The first few days we spent getting accustomed to the new rules and regulations, the new teachers, and getting to classes on time. At the first of the year we elected the following officers: Mary Miles, Presidentg Randy Snider, Vice Presidentg Bob Whitney, Secretary-Treasurerg and Mary Endres, Reporter. In October the Freshman class made a float which we entered in the Homecoming parade along with the floats which were made by the rest of the classes. Later on, we had a Freshman initiation to which the whole school was invited. All of the Freshmen took part in the initiation. In the month of April, we went to the Americade, a project which was set up to show the growing needs of America. This was held at the Bradley Field House at Peoria. We then held a spring class party which was enjoyed by all. I PICK UP BEAUTY TREATMENT PROFESSIONAL BUMS LOVE SONG PROUD PAPA ,, '.f ' Q DA NCI NG? ?
