The main way of making money was a coat-check business at the basketball games. ln january about thirty sophomores held a free-for-all party that ended with sled riding. Hot chocolate and cookies were served to all. The sophomore biology class held a bakesale to raise money for an armadillo. The armadil o died and as a result the class has money to donate to the 56 junior class. The biology class also took an all day trip to Chicago to the Field Museum and Brookfiled Zoo on May 7, 1955.
