They gained a meas- ure of oral fluency through weekly con er- sations and also translated the poetry ol Goethe and Schiller. SECOND-YEAR German students Elizabeth Brisson and Kathleen Worthley find their new instructor. Miss Dorothea Kuehlen, willing to help, even offer doss, and eager to prove that Deutsch kann geniessbar sein. Latin in two lorms is inciuded in the cur- riculum at CX)LK: leadings of the Odes ol Horace and the Cionlession of St. .Augustine in tlieir original form the course ol stud taught by Sr. Rose William, while a classical appreciation course, a surrey ol the prose and poetry ol the Gieeks and Romans, is offered by Sr. Ignatius Loyola in English for those lacking the proficiency in Latin.
