Last Hill And Testament The time has come for us to pass on our treasures and achi- evements to the class who will follow us. We wish to extend our best wishes to our followers and hope they will do half as well as we. As we have attained our goal in high school education, and are graduating, we the Senior Class of Elmore City High School of 1948, being of sound minds and bodies, do hereby make and de clare this to be our last will and testament, as is attested to this 17th day of May, 1948. We bequeath the Junior Class our ability to play ball and chew gum. We leave them all our A's and F's, too. We leave our quarrels, and friendships to each individual. We pass on to them the History questions we couldn't get and the English poetry we failed to memorize. We leave all the typing ergsers, typing paper, and pencils that we did not need. We will to you all the sleepless nights we have endured before test days. To each one of the new class, we leave a peck of worry and a bushel of work, as well as our individual wits. Glen Mullens passes on to Jack Hughes his ability to win women, especially Wilma Jean Roady. Sammie Pyle, our class artist, leaves to Clyde Knight his ability to draw. The scholastic ability is left to Madge Shirley and Nadine Conrad by Joan Brewer and Beryl Stribling. Lenora Pyle wills her ability of being engaged to Bobbie Manasco. We bequeath to Windol Nation and Jack Cantwell, Harold Cantwell's ability to be witty. T. L. Clark leaves his place as forward on the ball team to Floyd Bush. We pass to Vernon Adams, Richard Lindsey's quiet ways. To Mary Jo Mobley, Beatrice will her giggles. Our male song bird, Gene Ray Dill, wills his singing to Deryll Graves. Wanda Jane Dill wills R. T. Plastar to June Kennedy. We bequeath to Loretta Eppler all of Clarene Emberlin's Woodland boy friends. Our girls' basketball trio, Marion Walston, Margaret Horton and Lola Faye Graham, leave their positions on the main team to Elwanda Anthony, Wanda Dearman, and Voncille McGee. 51554, I.
