Reidy Art Editor Co-Editor Editor-in-Chief Assistanrt Business Manager Standing: Francis Maloney Robert Ervin Business Manager Photography Editor C' Syracuse Convention The fourth annual Empire State School Press Convention was held on October 24-25, 1941, at the Hotel Onondaga. in Syracuse. The delegates from the Catholic High were Frank Maloney, Peter Shields, R-obert Ervin, Doris Schmidt, Agnes O'Herron, and Madeline R-uddick. Mrs. Merrill Hadlock, Sister Mary Stephen and Sister Teresa Clare also attended. The main events of the convention were lectures by well-known jour- nalists and educators, a. banquet and dance, and a football game between Syracuse University and Rutgers College. The convention was very valuable to the Clarion and Echo staffs, as it gave the delegates the opportunity of finding out new and interesting ways of publishing school papers and year- books.
