Everything seemed strange at first and we wandered around the hall not knowing what to do, 'but we soon accustomed ourselves to high school life. The boys and girls became acquainted and we had election of officers. Robert Vetter was elected president, Teresa Gordon, vice-president, - Frank Longwell, treasurer and Therese Battersby, secretary. Everyone took an active part in mission work. Jean Macdonell was elected Freshman class promoter. In February we were invited to a dance given by the Sophomores. All who attended had an enjoyable time. On March 17 the C. S. M. C. held a Rabbit Hunt. This also was enjoyed by the Freshmen. Now that we are well-seasoned Freshmen, we realize that we had nothing to fear on that first day of school. ' 1942 ECHO Page Thuty
