President, Elroy Pondg vice- president, Gilbert Greiser. The club held meetings once a month. , On February 22, 1931, the club gave a dance, the Washington Swingoutf' which had a colonial plan of decora- f tions, reminiscent of the days of Washington on whose birthday L the event occured. Early in the spring the club had. a picnic in the woods. While there, several of the students made painting and sketch- ings of the surroundings. The Palette and Brush Club voted for new officers at the beginning of the school year 1932-1933 and the following stu- , dents were chosen, president, Evelyn Stormg vice-president, Lionel Schwang secretary and treasurer, Gertrude VVolf. l' In order to receive a Palette and Brush pin each classman f must obtain so many points within a limited time. To obtain V these the member must be active in certain outside work. The club had their annual dance, on February twentieth, ll called the Spectrum Dance, the different decorations being in ,Q all colors of the spectrum.
