These publications provide the students with a very complete record of the happenings of the school year. This year the Elmanac adopted a new headline system that has greatly improved the appearance of the paper. Miriam Callow has been the editor of the Elmanac. The Cloquallum has attempted to insert a little novelty by the addition of art work by Ted Bedell. We'll know just how successful our little experiment has been when the book comes off the press. l 'J CC Staff First row: Cloud. Lougheed, Callow, Jacobs, Lortz. Second row: Callow, Barthen, Zuvich. The Junior class came through this year with a fine per- formance in their play Cross My Heart. The story concerned the woes of two adolescents in their first contacts with life. This play was noteworthy because the two authors of the play attended it. There were thrills galore and laughs, too, when the Class of l94O presented Lunatics at Large. Between the antics of the lunnies and a nice bloody murder, Inspector Britt had a very difficult time accomplishing anything. It finally took a Confucious quoting Chinaman. Wing. to solve the mystery. ! -Q'--... PRODUCTIONS Junior Play MISS ISAKSEN l I 1 X. X f.! A 4 Q, , . z9li? 't ' ..-1 - Senior Plag Cast efflffa I I., -,. First row: Cass, Morrow. Walker.
