Our flvculfy Principal Thurlow Pitts greets Superintendent of Schools Henry G. Perkins I Good leaders are of the utmost importance in any organization. Students and teach- ers of Ellsworth High School are proud of these two men who are friendly and able advisors to us in all our undertakings. Miss Russell and Miss Plaisted have taught us that history is now and tomorrow as well as yesterday and that our part in it is important. Miss Russell sponsors the cheer- leaders while Miss Plaisted, besides being instructor of physical education for the girls, is coach of all their athletic activities. Mrs. Moore, who is the home economics teacher, has a large and active group of F.H.A. members deeply interested in learning the necessities of homemaking. Mr. Sprague and his industrial arts boys give willing and capable assistance in many school activities. Mr. Sprague is coach of cross country. Shades of Euclid! Shall we ever master the unknows, the theorems, the co-sines? Mr. Whitmore is sponsor of the Assembly Club and coaches I. V. basketball. Mr. Allen is instructor of driver training.
