CLASS HISTDRY At the beginning of the year we elected our class officers as follows: President, Don Builtag Vice-President, Karen Wissmillerg Secretary, Margie Coaleg Treasurer, Ron Lauritsong Reporter, Judy Brown and Don Builtag Student Council Representatives, Rick Roberts and Margie Coale. We participated in the all-school magazine drive from which we added quite a bit to our class fund. A few weeks after school started we began work on our class play, Me and My Shadow, which turned out quite well. During the year we lost two of our much needed members, Ada Bowman and Bill Wilson which left us with only seven members . We worked hard for a successful prom which turned out better than we had ever expected. We enjoyed it very much in spite of all the work we put into it and hope the seniors did, too. 18

CLASS HISTORY To start the year off, the sophomores had a party for the fresh- man class . In the afternoon we had amusement provided by the freshmen. Everyone seemed to enjoy this party. Then we elected our class officers which were as follows: President, Harold Davidg Vice-President, Eddie Bates: Secretary, Kay Suttleg Treasurer, Barbara Parkerg Reporter, Joan Mischg and Student Council Representatives, Harold Davis, Carol Diedrich, and Larry Scott. Our first money-making project was an all-school magazine sale Then as the year progressed we had other money-making projects which included bake sales, cake walks, and a square dance. We had a good turn out on all of our projects . Our class participated in Slack's Day. Larry Scott placed in the low hurdles and high hurdles . Nancy Walters placed in 50 yard dash and the 100 yard dash. Kay Suttle placed in the discus and Barb Parker placed in the 100 yard dash. Our class was honored to have Nancy Walters chosen as Cheer- leader. The sophomores found it quite interesting and fun serving at the junior-Senior Banquet. We enjoyed it very much and hope that the sophomores next year will have as much fun as we did serving the meal. Unfortunately we lost a member of our class, David Karnes. Since that time we have received a new addition to the class, Junior Murrell. We have found our sophomore year very enjoyable and hope our two years remaining will be as much fun. On
