Prior to that time we had two, rather disconnected and disorganized,Cpurely an understatement, meetings just to see how the idea of a Com- mercial Club would apneal to the Seniors. At this time we elected of3icers,with Helen Sebro acting as President pro tem. Her duty during this meeting was to take the nomina- tions for club officers. After a vote by the members pre- sent, Cno stuffing, either! the results were as slown on the first page of this column. At this meeting we also adopted the Commercial Club Constitution. The amendments are: l. Meetings every Wednesday at 4:00. 2. Dues, five cents a week. 3.fOnlv Commercial Seniors are eligible for membership. 4. When the President is absent the Reporter presides. 5. The members for each succeeding year must be appointed by the members of the preceeding year. 6. Twelve members each year. We had our meetings at regular intervals???? During OHS meeting the members decided that each would purchase pins signifying membership. Someone had the unique idea tlat each teacler in the building that needed a secretary should have one, and so came the time when we drew slips from a box to see who was a secretary for whom. The results were supposed to be a military secret, but I guess that there must have been a few spys lurking just outside the door. The members at present of the club are: Bert Affleck Bernadine Harsrman Alberta Xotulak Pauline Aurnik Naomi Lilley Helen Sebro lrene Sekerak Alverta Troyan Virginia lhttozzi Nora Reed During the corrse of the year we lost one member, Lillian Gossett, irc moved to Martin, Penna. At cther meetings during the year we corrected Typing Budgets, cleaned typewriters, learned to cut stencils, mimeograph, use the duplicator, and change ribbons on t-e tvpewriters.
