A+B2 = E.H.S. Math Leon Sobba teaches General Math and Algebra I. In General Math, the students work on the basic skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. They are also introduced to Algebra. Some of the areas covered in Algebra include the study of the real number system, graphing, and solving equations. Roger Stremel teaches Geometry, Algebra II, and Ad- vanced Math. In Geometry, the students study points, lines, and geometric figures in their relationships in space to help them develop an ability to think logical- ly. Algebra II is a continuation of Algebra with more intense study on some new topics such as irrational and imaginary numbers and systems of equations. In Advanced Math, the students review many of the topics that they had previously studied in Algebra. They learn advanced methods for solving specific types of problems and also study some Trigonometry. 16
