Mrs. Nancy Converse taught English 111 and IV. In English III. the students worked on short stories and writing compositions. They also worked on improving their grammar. In English IV, students studies mythology and better ways to write. a. An interested E.iglish class listens to Mrs. Converse explain how to write short stories. b. Mrs. Converse assists Mark Thill in English IV. c. Mrs. Converse talks to one of her English IV classes. d. English II class works on assignment given by Mr. Neelly. 10

Mr. Sturtz had more than 100 students in Art and photography this year. The students did works in oils, acry lic, and water color. They also screen printed. Art I students also enjoyed finger painting. a. Mark McQuadeand Marty Lowe take a moment to reflect on what they have just painted with their fingers. b. Philip Robl and Todd Bidle. Art I students, learn to paint with acrylics. c. Mr. Sturtz’s Motto: Force is the only way.” d. Jeff Roth screen prints in Honors Art. e. John Ingalls. ‘‘A English I and Basic English 1 were taught by Mike Westerman. They worked on things ranging from short stories to Greek mythology. They also made and filmed movies. Many of the students made different projects for the study of mythology. Mr. Westerman used different methods to teach the class such as the Jeopardy game for test reviewing. a. Julie Parish finds Mr. Westerman’s lectures really interesting. b. Mr. Westerman. English I and Basic English teacher, reviews students for test with use of a Jeopardy game. c. Zane Kramp competes in a game of Jeopardy. d. JoEllen Klepper and Jean Feist read some books of interest for English I. cY bA dY 11
