Spacil Clowned tlomecominq Queen June Spacil, pretty sophomore, was crowned homecoming queen by King Richard Jenisch, athletic senior, to reign as the queen cho- sen by the football boys. The crowning was an event of October ll in the high school auditorium. The queen's attendants were Roberta Stevens, Carmen Graff, Judy Lebbin and Sandy Stacey. The attendants for the king were Clayton Schartz, Ronnie Rickert, Dennis DeWerff and Tom Schroder. The queen and her four attend- ants watched the evening football game from the traditional loca- tion of the throne on the west side of the football field.

Upon investigation it was learned hat they were teachers from Guatemala h •— f The Eagle is published bi-weekly 8 by the members of the journalism class. At the beginning of the year the class elects a staff for both the 11 newspaper and the yearbook. The EHS newspaper carried news of activities and classes, editorials, f features and a choice column called Words for the Birds written by Linda Hayes and Dick Eberhart. Much of the work on the yearbook B was done at meetings of the class 8 in the evening. Staff members: Evelyn Heckele, Rhea Van Steenburgh, Jolene Yarmer, Steve Fisher SUPERINTENDENT VISITS GOVERNOR DOCKING Dr, R, M.
