Whatis New. The answer to that question would have to be all kinds of things if it were asked about the 1978-79 school year at Ellington. Of course the most obvious new thing at school this year is the new high school building and gymnasium. Along with the new high school came the decision to move the seventh and eighth grade classes into the same buildings as the high school classes. This move vacated the old junior high building and parts of the old high school. The 1978-79 school year was a time for changes in many things other than the buildings. The first all-school Christmas party was held, and was a cooperative effort among many of the clubs in the school. The party was held ing the old gymnasium and eliminated individual parties in the classrooms. I Top: the new building is in the foreground and the old building in the background.
