CO-RECREATION CLUB Variety was the by-word of the Co- Recreational Club. Despite its very large mem! bership, this club managed to enjoy a number of different activities of a co-recreational nature. To mention a few, there were party gamesg square, circle and'round dancesg a Scavenger Huntg volleyball, an indoor track meetg charadesg and many other enjoyable activities. The club also sponsored two roller-skating parties for the whole student body at which there were many spills but lots of frills. This club had no officers but used a rotating com- mittee plan to arrange weekly activities. Sponsors were Miss Annabelle Ferguson and Miss Mary Lang. SPANISH CLUB Our Spanish Club this year has eight members. We spend our club periods learning to speak and understand the basic principles of the Spanish language. Tom Powell, one of the members, brought in a set of Spanish records. By listening to these records, we are able to improve our pronunciation and we also get used to hearing Spanish spoken by a native. All of the members have made real progress and know and understand quite a few words and expressions. Now, all they want is an opportunity to put their espanol to use. X, . if - .J .c Q .
