THE JUNIOR HIGH I DRAMATIC CLUB 4 eff Q A nyone passing oom on urs ay a ernoon o en saw some ra er surprising A R 21 Th d ft ft th g sights. It could have been the entire club along with the sponsor, Miss Lois Sauter, practicing their relaxing exercises or facial expressions. Sometimes it was a promising actress doing an original pantomime skit, or acting out a charade. The junior Thespians got to know the smell of grease paints, and some got to love it. It's fascinating to add fifty years to your looks in just fifteen minutes. Almost all of the members were in the Variety and Minstrel Show. For their part in the March Assembly, they presented a play entitled And the Lamp Went Out. During club meetings they did pantomimes and skits. The Club entertained the Boys' Cooking Club at a Valentine Party, and they enjoyed a wiener roast in the spring. The following officers served very efficiently through the year: Prefident ..........................................,.
