And when our school days are past, Friendships we have made will last. CHORUS Sailors all are we, Seniors. Sailing on the sea, Seniors. The boys and girls exhibited their athletic abilities by winning the intramural bas- ketball plaques. The practice was probably obtained at the Class get-together on February third at which everyone had a good time. We felt very proud of our parents in enabling us to win the P.T.A. member- ship contest of that year. Two trips to Washington were made and were conducted by Mr. Nathans, our Science Teacher. Both proved to be interesting and educational. Since there were no Seniors the Prom was given by the Class of '51 and ourselves. The gym was decorated in the garden theme. All in all our first year turned out to be a very helpful one. 1 9 5 1 Pf8J'fd6?7f ........... ..,,.,,,,,,,,,,,,.,,.,,,,,,,,,, G ay Reed Vire President ..... .,,,,.,,.,.,,.,,, R iehafd Lowe Seffefdfy ............ ....... Miss Marion Ferguson We started our junior year with a class get-together, where we became very well acquainted with new class members. The first dance that year was the junior Jamboree, to which everyone responded wonderfully, and all had an enjoyable evening. We gave a Buffet Supper-Dance to the Class of '51. Our class again, with the help of our parents, won the P.T.A. mem- bership contest. The girls, for the second consecutive year, won the plaque for the intramural basketball. We were tops in attendance for the year, and we were honored with an attendance party. SW f l . .1 a' 1952 President ........... ........... ............. A n n Hobson Vice President ..,.... ........ Miss Marion Ferguson In our last year of school, we began working im- mediately in as much as we defeated all other classes in the magazines sale with a grand total of 3850. The school sponsored a Washington trip for the win- ner. We took the trip on Monday and we toured Was- hington. Everyone had a fine time and sore feet. We had our annual class get-together in which everyone joined in a wonderful game of volleyball, even the teachers. Immediately after having a good time every- one began working on the yearbook. We surprised ourselves as well as the principal because we tqqlpped our goal of 31,000 We planned a Christmas ance but it was cancelled because of bad weather. Plans are being made for an extra-ordinary, gigantic Prom and an unusual Class Night. hw Q. I ,b Mg, X! f ff 1 15 7 if! - , CQ,,..?

CLASS OF '52 Mirth and laughter, Sorrow and tears, Made up the class For the last four years. We've taken leads, We're among the best, We've help set a goal For all the rest. Long was the way, Short was the time It often seemed Like a long, hard climb. We conquered the hills, We've crossed the dales, We've tried to succeed Rather than fail. We've come to the end, We're prepared to leave, By now we hope You can rightly perceive. We've worked for ourselves, We've tried to be true, We've done our share Now it's up to you. The door is wide open, The world we can view, The times may be hard But we'll see them through. We'1l miss our school, We will surely miss you, Till we meet again Here's a fond adieu.
