In 1945, our public school system changed from a seven-four plan to a six-three-three plan. The Junior High School, seventh, eighth, and nineth grades moved in with the Senior High School, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades. Again it was necessary to consider over crowded conditions and to look forward to the day when the present school would be just junior High School. In 1952, under Mt. jones' leadership, we would like to stress the fact that all recom- mendations made by the Evaluating Committees have been carried out and further goals have been reached. It is with deep regret that after fifty years of public service, we see the illustrious name of Ellicott City High School fade into the past, but with this knowledge that the graduates of this school for years to come will keep before the world the ideals that were formulated in this memorable institution.
