Day Before Graduation 'Twas the day before graduation, when down Main Street, Came Miss Laura Glover and sixty-six tiny feet. They were shoving and laughing and pushing around, When down on the street Hamilton came with a bound. Miss Glover looked at Robert and Phil, and said, 'That's naughty you know! And they said, 'Miss Glover you know it ain't so. And what to our astonished eyes should appear, But Nellie, Viola, Mildred and Marie with a case of root beer And behind them there came, leading a coon, Floyd Kerwin and Maestro .loe Boone. Out of the Gayety full of jive, Came .loan Kuhn and the rest of the big five. And they climbed into the Nash all full of cheer, And as you can guess, no one was able to steer. They hit Bobbie's truck and slung him out on his ear. 'I'll get you all,' Bobbie did shout. But as usual they wiggled out with a pout. .lust a little reminder, you men, Frankie, Jackie, Buelah and Pat are on the war path again. Hanging around their usual wolf den, Was David, John, Charles and Glen. In the pool room, I know and read - Stands Bill Cugle and all star, Fred. Dorothy and Eileen looking so shy, But what about that man's image in their eye? Betty Nazelrod, so little and tiny, Is always stealing a look at Ronnie. Here come Lucille and Margaret, Not over hers yet comes Lois Kemp From last night's frolic, half dead,' Singing of her head. Here comes .lean Ramsburg full of joy, And hanging on her arm, nothing else but a boy! Nancy Baugher is a ball-hog, they say, But she'll show them all, Nancy, won't you some day?
