F O R E W Q R D Because of labor and material shortages, we have been forced to condense this year's Klahiam. We wished to include all of the activities and organizations that represent our school life, but we were forced, through lack of space, to omit some. Likewise we wished to include all the names and pictures of our alumni who are now serving in our armed forces throughout the world. Our wish was too ambitious. We should have needed to publish a series. Our problem was resolved, however, when we began the search for photographs of the boys. Few were available. We have made no attempt to be inclusive or selective. Our only attempt has been to make this book as representative as possible of our school life and contribution to service. 8
