With only one more year left to go, they are living it up and keep¬ ing the school alive. On February 6, the juniors and seniors went to Bismarck for a tour of the capitol. FHA-HERO had an event filled active year. Fund raisers included serving at the DRT annual meeting and the district music contest, they sold carnations again this year for Valentine ' s Day. They also raised money at Parent Workshop Babysitting. Leadership and Educational Projects were the officer training cook- out, the District Rally at Jamestown, the State Leadership Convention in Bismarck, STAR Event Competition in LaMoure, and the Officer installation and Parent Recep¬ tion. School Projects were teacher Ap¬ preciation Banner, teach er “Baby-face” contest, Crazy Christmas Dinner for staff, nutritious breakfast for wrestlers and basketball players, and they painted slogans on gym locker room walls. The social events that FHS participated in were rollerskating, overnight lock-in, videos, know-your-FHA pizza party. FHA- HERO has a greatly increased member¬ ship and are proud of their many accomplishments. The game went into triple overtime and the Cardinals came out on top. Some of the activities includ¬ ed were: Nerd, 50’s, and Hawaiian Days. All went over really well. Mr. Alger spoke at the banquet, which as again held at the Ranch. The Theme for this year’s Prom was Heaven in Your Eyes with the colors of white, blue, and pink. “Crystal Sun¬ shine’’ returned to play for the dancing couples for the third year in a row. They all work hard to make sure we get a good paper. And most of the time they can be pretty funny. The paper had really improved over the years. THE BIG LEADER!!!
