FOOTBALL A Winning Season This year was one of EUendale’s finest seasons. They accumulated a record of 7-2. Coach Alger was veiy proud of all the team work the team had. The captains thought they had a fairly good season and wished they could have reached the State playoffs. The Homecoming game was the final test The players worked hard, but they were defeated by a good Linton Lions team. The fans gave the team support and this helped them to have a good year. The fans really supported the team. Come rain or shine, they were there, backing the Cards. The TBI students’ support was an asset to the winning season. They brought down busloads to back up the team. A new idea, a snake dance, was added for the Homecoming game. The fans ran single file, holding hands and cheering from the school to the field and created a lot of enthusiasm. The whole town was very proud of the team. Mayor Vic Stein wand spoke at the Home¬ coming pep fest and congratulated them on their fine season.
