Redbird Changes To Local Publisher In producing the yearbook, many hours are spent writing, typing and laying out pages, especially for the Editors. This year things were a little easier for the staff as our publisher is Trinity Print-n-Press in Ellen- dale. Simplified pixxredurcs have made putting the annual together an easier job and lower costs have made it possible to add extra features. DRAMA AND SPEECH The Drama Class presented to the public a one-act comedy entided “Boy Meets Family.” They took this play to District Contest in LaMoure. When students were not on stage, they were at worit in the classroom. There they learned how to apply character make-up and to work backstage. A number of speech contestants earned medals in District Contest Five from the group advanced to state contest held at Bismarck. The entire speech class entered The Voice of Democracy Contest sponsored by the VFW. Three students earned cash awards in this contest - - Page 4 Top - Lynn Gayman and Dana Monroe waiting for their next line. Middle left - A dramatic scene between John Grueneich and Dana Monroe. CARDINAL The Cardinal staff had a busy year putting together the school paper. The journalism class help ed with the paper during the first semester. They published six issues throughout the year. The staff consisted of Editor Rita Miller, Jr. Editor Sandra Schaller, Reporter Diane Miller, Typist Hope Houghton and Artist Terry Farthing. Mr. Masset was the advisor.
