SCHOOL SPIRIT Pep and Spirit .. that’s what we’ve got! EHS students let their spirit show. A poster contest was held during Homecoming Week. The class of ’83 showed spirit by sup¬ porting their Homecoming Candidates with the most posters. The cheerleaders spent hours practicing cheers and planning pep- fests consisting of pudding, pie-eating, bub- ble-gum, and baby-face contests. The bas¬ ketball cheerleaders set up a Pep Club to keep school spirit soaring. EHS athletes al¬ ways give it their best in competition. They win some and lose some, but there’s always that winning spirit. Athletes came out of f ames with all kinds of pains, bumps, and ruises while cheerleaders and faithful fans went home with hoarse throats. What’s that we’ve got? Excess energy, lots of en¬ thusiasm and pride! Top Left: Loyal fans of the fighting Cardinals Top Right: Gene Crabtree practicing in hopes of becoming a future Harlem Globetrotter.
