18 THE BOOK Redbird Staff Presents ”1979 - A Slice Of Life” Writing the words, snapping the shots, drawing layouts, typing the tales, keep the staff busy as the deadlines approach. We hope that within these pages you will find the photographs and words to help recapture the spirit of the school year. A yearbook is for remembering the faces, recalling places, reliving a game, and remembering a name. Your yearbook is a treasury of memories whose value we hope will increase with the passing years. The Annual staff has tried to compile a book that hopefully has recaptured a bit of your school days within the pages of this Redbird. THE PRESS Cardinal Staff Works Hard To Beat Deadlines With assignment in hand and deadlines to meet, the Cardinal reporters scanned the school and community for tid-bi ts of news-worthy material for the 1978-79 Cardinal. Under the guidance of Advisor Bernice Thielges, six Issues of The Cardinal were typed, scoped, and then put to press.
