Juniors Present ’’DON’T TAKE MY PENNY” CAST-STANDING: Maureen Maier, Barbara Staley. Mick Manilla. Jim Clarke. Bob Hailesiad. Larry Cayman, Betty Bertsch, Ben Crabtree. SITTING: Mary Elaine Crabtree, Mary Oxenrider. Patty Wallace, Shirley Olson, Bob Martilla. MISSING: Bonnie Vix. Gary Rekow, Richard Houghton. Lucille Dathe. The Juniors presented their fall play to a very large crowd. Their play was about a starstruck girl, Penny, who wants to play the leading role in a movie version of a novel. The author was to come to town to pick his leadir® lady. Penny knew that she was bound to be picked for the role, but she didn’t know that their maid was planted in town to be discovered. Penny was given advice by her sister, who had played small ’’bit parts on radio. But Penny and her girlfriend were outwitted by their boyfriends. Later Penny’s father came home with the real author and her boyfriend was exposed. The maid did not get the movie role be¬ cause she fell in love with Mark. Penny did not get the role either because the author chose her sister. Mavis, instead. Penny and Joanna paired up with their boyfriends and got ready for a tennis tournament.
