TLL LEAVE IT TOO YOU” by Noel Coward was presented by the Senior Class in the spring of 58. Darnel Davis, (WillisNill), Mrs. Dermott’s brother, returned from South America to visit his sister and her family. He wanted to give his money away to the person in the family that deserved it the most. His requirement to receive the money was that the person that was to receive the money was to make good in the world. After the family had heard this they soon began to try and make good, so as to receive all of the money that their dear Uncle Daniel had made in South America. But they soon find out that their uncle does not have any money. They then dislike him because he can not fulfill the promises that he made. But later they see that they are wrong as a result of a telegram that arrives and says that he has come into a lot of money. The author was to come to town to pick his leadir® lady. Penny knew that she was bound to be picked for the role, but she didn’t know that their maid was planted in town to be discovered. Penny was given advice by her sister, who had played small ’’bit parts on radio. But Penny and her girlfriend were outwitted by their boyfriends. Later Penny’s father came home with the real author and her boyfriend was exposed. The maid did not get the movie role be¬ cause she fell in love with Mark. Penny did not get the role either because the author chose her sister. Mavis, instead. Penny and Joanna paired up with their boyfriends and got ready for a tennis tournament. NOT PICTURED: Coach Rich Welk. This year the Cards displayed their shooting ability, team work, and strength very well as they defeated some of the best teams in the area. They compiled the best record they have ever had. They finished the regular season with 18 wins and 2 losses. They finished the entire season including tournament play with 27 wins and 4 losses. They succeeded in winning the Kulm Christmas tournament for the second straight year. They succeeded in winning the conference championship for the second year after they had tied with Kulm for it last year. But at the close of the year at the District tournament they failed to show their true strength by being defeated by Enderlin in the championship game. They entered the Regional tournament at Fargo and took the champion¬ ship after beating Enderlin 62 to 37. They went on to the State tournament at Minot and met bad luck as they failed to beat Carrington after being defeated by them during regular season play. The fire and spirit was not dead by any means as they came back to fight and emerge as the Consolation champions.
