Third Row — Robert Schonberger, Roger Kendall, Joane Heine, Grace Bell, Peggy Hatfield, Marilyn Newman, Betty Houghton, Herbert Wagner, Maynard Wei tala. Fourth Row — -Delores Nitschke, Eosella Guyatt, Lorna Maach, Beverly Gerdon, Joyce Evans, Shirley Vick, Verna Kosel, Esther Schaller. On October lU, thirty-four unhappy Sophomores were officially initiated into Senior High. The Seniors did a good job of dressing them in various costumes. They paraded through main street in the morning and put on a show at the Oakes-Ellendale football game and in the evening a party was given for the Sophs by the Seniors. The Sophomore class sponsered a few parties during the year, which were held after basketball games. At Christmas time the Sophomores sent a gift of nine dollars to the Children’ s .Home Society in Fargo. Early in the school year class officers were elected.
