Music edu- cation in high school is often the beginning of a greater appreciation for one of the greatest arts and provides a pleasant outlet for en- thusiasm and emotions. 1 i i CHRISTMAS PROGRAM The annual Christmas program, under the direction of Miss Martha Buck, was held in the auditorium on December 19, 1946. About 200 stu- dents from grades three to twelve inclusive participated. Miss Buck was in charge of the intermediate and unner trades, and the high school groups, while Miss Evelyn Strain directed the lower grade group. Accompanists were Janice Rime at the piano and Mary Jean Donahe at the reed organ. Miss Rime served as ac- companist for both boys’ and girls’ glee clubs throughout the year. A faculty committee composed of Mrs. Brouillard, Mrs. Heckmann, Mr. Picken, and Page 8 Mr. Sheppard decorated the stage in a tradi- tional Christmas setting.
