Qn. dfaUwApact We of the senior class of 1946 have reached an important milestone in our lives. As we look back over our twelve years in school we remember many things: playing marbles, throw- ing snow-balls, watching the new gymnasium rise from its foundation, and even doing a little studying at times. While we have been going to high school, a devastating world war has taken an unbeliev- able toll in human lives and physical resources. Although the battlefields were thousands of miles from our shores, the struggle has left its i mpressions upon us. We’ve had a fine staff of teachers who have patiently helped to prepare us to take an active part in this swift age. The entire school and community is proud of the accomplishments of the basketball and football teams who have at- tained outstanding records — but not by neg- lecting school work. We’ve had good times at parties, plays, and sports events and we’re going to remember them always. Friendships have grown up through the years and we have learned to work alongside our fellows. Yes, we owe much to our high school. It has given us an introduction to life, enabling us to learn and to practice the ways of peace. and freedom.
