“
We, the class of 1962, wish to dedicate out yearbook to the Ki- wanis Club of Ellenburg which has helped provide many necessary programs and opportunities for the youth in our community. During the twelve years it has been in existence in Ellenburg, the members have worked to make our community a modernized town in the field of education and recreation. Under their supervision an annual schol- arship is granted to a graduate to help finance his further education. Money is also donated annually to the community library which is used by all age groups. For children living on farms they have started a poultry program and a calf chain. All young people at one time or another have enjoyed the summer recreation program which includes supervised swimming instruction and boys' softball. Such practical services as blood donorship, Christmas baskets of food, clothing, and toys, and a fund to provide glasses for young people are all benefits which have helped to make the club worth- while. Because of these and other advantages which we have gained through the foresight of Kiwanians, we gratefully dedicate the '62 Golden Eagle to the Kiwanis Club of Ellenburg. ADMINISTRATION MR.
