Pa fl ,y Wy'. DRAMATICS ,WX SENIOR PLAY. The Senior class presented the play lt Happened Next Tuesday on ecember 3. There was a good attendance and the play was a great success. I Tom Iones, the leading character, was a small town man Who, seemingly, ad no interests in the government of his country. Since all he thought of was hunting, he became rather startled when he returned from his trip to the North if Woods, to find his family, home, friends, and government being torn betvfeen the vicious arms of Fascism and Dictatorship. ln the clever Third Act, the plan of Fascism and Dictatorship tumed out to be a dream. The comedy was fur- A N nished by Minnetta, the colored maid. There was the portrayal of lots of melodrama, a little romance, and Americas answer to the challenge of dictatorship. D W ad yy -ui., - . Clara Bell, the heroine constantly insists on singing and as luck would ' ave it, she moves next door to the prospective tenant in a boarding house. She sings continually with a voice that really isn't a voice at all, ocnd in the end, is J .35 after many trials and hard times, she is given a contract to sing on the radio.
