CLASS PIROIPHIECY Well, I have finished my supper' and settled myself in an easy chair, in 'front of the fireplace to read the latest news in The Know-it-All. I noticed the following interesting items: Looking into Uncle Sam's forces, defense plants, etc., I see your following classmates. ' The following Navy Nurses were decorated for their bravery, Gloria Lorenzini, Wanda Lee Porter, and Dolores Ward. Margaret Bishop set the record for ferrying bombers. Lieutenant Iohn Boros, of the United States Army today praised Archibald Gray and Obadiah Nance, camp cooks, on their food preparations. Lester Myers and Iack Crews are keeping the spuds rolling at Camp Roberts. Bill Le Pere, flyer in the distinguished Eagle Squadron, has downed forty lap planes, setting a new record. His buddies, Perry Ward and I. V. Lowe, are trying to beat this record. The Navy refers to Elmer Cassai and Red Robinson as their two man invasion. Buddy Church is nicknamed Fearless Church. Looking into a busy defense plant I see Catherine Contri, who is called Rosie the Riveter, who is being assisted by Freda Daffron. The blue print expert of the plant is Mr. Krisfaluzy. Iohn Hartsock plays a big par't in the designing of these bombers. Major Phillips, of the United States Army, has stated, quote, This plant is doing superb work and I think the President, Mr. Pete Re, should be complimented. Over in Egypt I see Wese Wisely climbing from the cockpit of his plane, after downing five German planes. Now to look in on the life at Washington, D. C. The President compli- mented the following stenographers on their fine work: Verlie May Cawvey, Blanche Crews, Rosemarie Kristan, Arlene Martin, and Wanda Iune Russell. The moral of the people must be kept up so we will see what is going on in the Society Page. At Hollywood, at the swanky night club Stumble Inn, Iames Getzie fHarry Iarnes the secondl is featured this week. Featured vocal- ist is Miss Christine Evans. And the young girl who took Carmen Miranda's place in Hollywood, Miss Thomas, will favor the crowd with a few dance specialties. The guest of honor' will be Mr. Hubert Etherton, Hollywood's latest sensation. It is rumored that he will escort Miss Lipe, famous Powers' Model. The soldiers and sailors will be entertained at the U.S.O. club in New York by George Setelia and his clarinet. Annie Lipton is a torch singer in his orchestra. The hostesses at the club are Alice Marie Burns, Doris Romines, and Iulia Simon. Mr. Krelo, mayor of New York, will also be present.
