SENIOR CLASS PROPHFCY One sum er, Tom thought I CConn1e Clemol should have a vacation, although he couldn't go with me He took me to the bus depot and I started on a trip along the Iest Coast I was very happy to be going through Oregon again since we had been living in eastern Tashington for quite some time As we neared Vlkton, I was wishing we could spend some time there but the bus was scheduled to stop for only ten minutes However, luck was with me and the bus had a flat tire gust as we were stopping I ot off the bus to look for some of my friends Upon exam ning the tire the bus driver discovered the reason for the flat tire was a big nail After looking at the highway he discovered a number of nails e looked around to see if we could find the culprit, and we sav a little boy on the othrr side of the road laughing He was about five years old, towhe ded and frcckled I went over When I asked him his name, I was sure he would say his name was Robert Slovensky Jr Sure enough, he was the son of one of my cla smates, Patty McDonald Just then I heard someone yell, 'Junior I looked around and there was Patty running from her house to see what mischief her son was in She told me he was always doing something like that While I was chatting with Patty and Junior Slovensky I heard a crash and a bang I looked over at the side of the road and I saw a big pile of Junk, with two feet size 13 sticking out When I got over to the car, the driver was struggling out of the Junk heap I looked a little closer and found it was none other than the speed demon of the United States and Texas, my former clas mate, Paul E. Riley During our conversation I found out he was married to his old girl friend, Anita Hirson, and had six little boys, who were going to follow in his foot steps 1f he had anything to sq about +he1r future I asked Paul if he knew where any of the rest of our old classmates were, and he said he knew Lorna Alldridge was working in Portland on one of the papers as their star re porter, and he thought the famous ballerina dancer of Holly wood, Madam Rosemary Gates, was our former classmate Rose mary Gates I told him when I got to California I would look her up . . . , ' Y! . . . 12 . .
