Coach's comments: The varsity team enjoyed a successful season. They showed the kind of determination and character that all coach's try to find. The personality of the group was to bounce back after a loss with renewed commitment. They set their sights on a region tourney appearance and achieved that goal. Even though few people outside the team mem- bers believed in them, they did not get discouraged and never gave up hope. They always pulled together when they needed to and over- came their obstacles. The accomplishments of this group of ladies as a basketball team shows that they all are destined to be winners in life. Their ability to face adversity with courage and confidence will lead them through rewarding and happy lives. They showed a lot of talent, desire, and enthusiasm. Their record was good because they worked hard in practice and in the games to pull out victories.
