ORAL INTERP TEAM TAKES CONFERENCE Thirteen proved to be lucky for Elkton High School when that number of students won the Sweepstakes trophy at the Sec- ond Annual Eastern Dakota Conference Oral Interpreta- tion Contest at at Estelline on Saturday, October 27. Those participating in the six categor- ies were as follows: Duet Memorized Interpretation- Brad Heesch and Curt Krog- man, 1st Superior; Diane Lor- den and Karen Lynn, 3rd Excel- lent; Oratory- Jeff Rykhus, 2nd Excellent; Serious Interpreta- tion of Prose- Jolene Vaske, 3rd Excellent; Ernie Sarmien to, 5th Excellent; Dramatic- Pam Ro- chel, 4th Excellent; Humorous- Jim Schirmer, 1st Superior: Val- erie Cameron, 3rd Excellent; Peotry- Lynda Hegerfeld, 1st Superior; Deb Biggar, 2nd Su- perior.
