Many Seniors had memorable events during their final season of high school football. Everyone will remember the study halls. Relaxing from a busy day are these Seniors: Joyce Overend, Monica Gebhart, Rod Greve, and Dale Bowne. In the background are Tom Thielen, Marlon Brandt, John Coughlin, and Shane McKeown. Many Seniors participated in band this year. Everyone worked hard to make it a successful year. 2 The Arts and Crafts Club worked on various projects this year. Above, the Freshmen are working on their projects. Cliff Pratt gives directions to Leanne Burl age as she tries on football gear during homecoming activities. The FHA girls hosted a round robin with Deubrook. Pictured above are: Sally Suhr, Deb Aaker, Annette Gebhart, Pat Janssen, Ruth Culhane, Barb Moulton, Sherri Anderson, and Sue Short. Tim Davis, Tom Thielen, Dave Van Dyke, and Kevin Nelson helped the cheerleaders at one of the pep meetings. Lynn Kurtz starts work on the room simu- lation being made by the home ec girls. 3 Time to Remember Many Seniors had memorable events in their years of varsity basketball. As shown above, Shane McKeown battles a Deubrook player for a re- bound. Remember the days when daydreaming was a favorite pastime. Above, Kent Risch dreams about the tough football game he played last Friday against Verdi. His expression tells the rest of the story. The teachers, as well as the kids, enjoyed the pep meetings as Mr. Siedschlaw, Mrs. Iverson, Miss Beyer, and Mrs. Seaman get ready for the next skit. Ezequiel Agustin Burgos is our foreign exchange this year, he comes from Santiago, Chile and has been staying with Mr. and Mrs. Don McDowell throughout the year. Zeke (a nickname given to him by the E. H. S. 'ers) has two brothers, Alexander and Ralph, and has attended boy school throughout his school years. Zeke's birthday is May 27, 1957 and is now 15. He told us he is undecided about his future, whether he will go to college or start working when he returns to Chile, which will be at the end of July. We're sure glad that Zeke has learned how a little town in America lives and does certain things (and some things have really baffled him) just in turn; how we have learned the whys, why nots, whens, whats, and ways of all the customs Zeke brought, that we shared in the greatest ways.
