Elkton High School Elkton, South Dakota THE 1963 ELE CONTENTS Because of your sincere interest in the welfare of the student body; because of your untiring efforts in trying to improve our school; because of your spirit of optimism; and, above all, for the pro- found respect each student has for you, we, the students of Elkton High, dedicate this yearbook to you, Mr. Robert F. Petschow. We hope that this tribute you so rightly deserve, will show how highly we regard you. Lo uen Q. Lruiaen. SecAeJnsut Dexi n. y uli i K. (pqeJLbne.chi. Thotnaa Hunnzy. SajuLna K. Honnbtj. The Seniors of E.H.S. donned their caps and gowns on that long awaited evening of May 28, 1963. Solemnly, the Seniors marched up the aisle to recleve their cherished diplomas. The warm memories of E.H.S. will long remain in the hearts of these graduated students. The Senior class of '63 wUl use the talents that they have acquired in these last four years of training to good advantage in their life to come. The Senior class chose as their motto Let us be seen by our deeds. TM.S motto represents the accomplishments of the Senior class during the past years, these being inspired by home and school environment. The lavendar carnation was chosen as the Senior class flower, while lavendar and silver as their colors. These symbols link our lasting friendships into the future. Mr. Gordon P.
