Homecoming Dennis Walsh and Mary Ann Howell were crowned Lord and Lady at the 1958 home- coming program which was held at the city auditorium September 25. Lester Kramer and Marie McClemans, '57 Lord and Lady, crowned the '58 royalty. The attendants were Micky Myers and Ber- mae Weber, and Andy Kurtz and Jean Pete rs. William Zink was master of ceremonies. Jody Gries, Lynn Duin, and Mark Hamp- son were crown, robe, and flower bearers. After the program, the royalty riding in a convertible led the snake dance out to the Elks Bowl for the pep rally and bonfire. The Elkton Elks were defeated by the Howard Tigers Friday evening, September 26. Following the game the Ambassadors played at the homecoming dance. 19

Plays and Prom Many memories will stay with the Class of '59, a few of which are from the two class plays and the junior- senior banquet and prom. Pictured near the top of the page is a scene from the banquet which was held in the spring of 1958. The theme was Oriental Gardens. The two pictures on the lower left are scenes from the senior class play Let's Face It which was presented in December of 1958. On the lower right is a scene taken at the junior class play Meet Me at the Prom which was given in April of 1958. 20
