Class officers for our first year were Micky Myers, president; Shirley Kramer, vice-president; Jean Peters, secretary; and Virginia Pape, treasurer. Robert Hampson was our class adviser. Two students left our class after their freshman year. They were Alvin Christensen and Clifford Wright. The school year of'56-'57 saw the following people holding a class office: Pete Peterson, president; Rea Fulmer, vice-president; Bermae Weber, secretary; and Patsy Heesch, treasurer. Officers for our third year were Denny Walsh, president; Jim Stewart, vice-president; Jean Peters, treasurer; Mary Howell, secretary. Mrs. Wilding and Mr. Bruning were our class ad- visers. Oriental Gardens was the theme used for our banquet andprom. Meet Me at the Prom was the name of our class play which was directed by Mr. Darson. Three juniors received honors during this year of 1957-58. Pete Peterson was elected by the American Legion to attend Boys State; while Elaine Sutton was the Women's Auxiliary nominee for Girls State. Helen Burlage received a scholarship from the Elkton Women's Club to attend Music Camp at the University of South Dakota. Tom Moser joined the class during the year, thus making 26 juniors.
