FOOTBALL Twenty-six boys went out for the Elk’s 1953 football season. A new attraction this year was the construction of lights at the field, making most of the games at night. A special fea- ture was our Homecoming, Oct. 2, in which the Elks defeated Bruce after a hard fought game. This year tne team lacked weight, but made up for it in teamwork and speed. Left to Right-LeRoy Pratt, William Seivert, Dwaine Latham, Charles Heesch, Eldon Ek- berg, Donald Bartelt, Raymond Pratt. Coach—Mr. Welch. TRACK Seven boys turned out for track this year. They plan to attend the Regional Track Meet and others of the season.
