AG DEPARTMENT The agriculture department of Elkton High School was established for the term of 1951 and 1952 with Peter Hodial as instructor. This department was established with the sole purpose of offering a profit- able four-year course of shop and agricultural instruction for all high school boys. F. F. A. The Elkton Chapter of the F. F. A. was founded during the same term as the agriculture department. This nationally known organization is recognized the country over as a contructive organization, that trains young man into being better and stronger farmers. One of the highlights of this organization since its founding in Elkton was the National F. F. A. Convention held in Kansas City, Mo. in which two Elkton boys were delegates, W. Moulton and V. Kock. HOT LUNCH The Elkton Public School has par- ticipated in the Hot Lunch Program for 11 years. Mrs. McMahon and her helpers serve about 90 pupils per day. The fee for the meal is 1.00 a week for each pupil. There has been a stove installed this year in the hot lunch room.
