HOME ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT HOME EC. II In Elkton High School three years of Home making are offered in a modern equipped department. The kitchen department is equipped with modern style cabinets, refrigerator, and this year two late model stoves were added. These things give the girls actual practice in planning and preparing meals. In the sewing unit there are electric sewing ma- chines that give the girls opportunity to make cloth- ing articles for themselves. Besides this the depart- ment offers units in family relations, marriage and careers, and costume designs, as well as many other crafts and hobbies. HOME EC. I There are forty members in the Elkton Chapter F.H.A.. Our organization is a na- tional affiliation association sponsored by the American Home Economics Association.
